Account Supervisor

Sports, Culinary & Entertainment

 

Overview

The MELT team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Account Supervisor. This position will lead accounts for Fortune 100 companies across many sports and culinary focused properties. This position will lead the entire account/event cycle including planning, implementation, execution and reconciliation of large-scale programs and executions. We are seeking an experienced account lead and creative thinker to help bring brand campaigns to life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead projects for FORTUNE 100 Clients’ marketing initiatives
  • Create, manage and sell-in integrated marketing strategies across advertising, event marketing, digital/social and retail promotions
  • Manage marketing relationships with major sports, entertainment and media properties
  • Write presentations and communication materials detailing client promotions, events and brand plans
  • Present promotional, advertising and event/experiential concepts to clients
  • Develop and manage related project deliverables, contracts, budgets, status reports, project timelines and staffing plans
  • Work with Director of Events and event team on event development, requirements, budget, execution and success metrics
  • Manage and execute consumer retail sweepstakes including building out promotional messaging, prizing strategies and related marketing materials in conjunction with prizing and fulfillment agencies
  • Analyze marketplace research and consumer trends for incorporation into RFPs
  • Brief Creative Team on design and concepts for all integrated marketing programs and manage client feedback and approval process
  • Manage all related vendor relationships
  • Work across MELT teams to ensure brand consistency for clients and meet project objectives
  • Manage relationships with talent, such as coaches, athletes chefs and other celebrities

Background/Experience

  • 7-10+ years of brand strategy, advertising, events or promotions experience for consumer facing sports properties and/or Fortune 500 companies
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer products and sports/entertainment industries required
  • Event/Experiential activation experience required
  • Knowledge of digital and social media promotions
  • Passion for college sports, a plus
  • Bachelors degree in related field required, Master preferred

Requirements

  • Must be based out of Atlanta
  • No relocation provided
  • Travel 30-40%
  • May include long hours and weekends around key program launches
