Group Account Director, Account & Experiential Services Sports, Culinary & Entertainment

 

Overview:

The MELT team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic account leader to manage pillar programs for a major brand. This position will lead accounts for a Fortune 100 company across many sports, entertainment and culinary focused properties. This position will lead the entire account cycle including strategy, concepting, planning, implementation, execution and reconciliation of integrated programs and large-scale experiential executions. We are seeking an experienced account lead and creative thinker to help bring brand campaigns to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead fully integrated programs and experiential projects for FORTUNE 100 Clients’ marketing initiatives
  • Provide leadership and development of talented staff
  • Create, manage and execute integrated marketing strategies across all mediums including experiential, digital, and customer
  • Manage marketing relationships with major sports, entertainment and media properties
  • Work with cross-functional service teams including Creative, Digital, Interactive, and Culinary teams to provide best-in-class thinking and deliverables
  • Drive new business opportunities within account deck
  • Manage process and write presentations and communication materials detailing brand and program plans
  • Present concepts to clients and lead revision process
  • Develop and manage related project deliverables, contracts, budgets, status reports, project timelines and staffing plans
  • Work with Vice President & other Group Director on program development, requirements, budget, execution and success metrics for clients
  • Manage and develop third-party partners
  • Analyze marketplace research and consumer trends in the space for incorporation into RFPs
  • Work across MELT teams to ensure brand consistency for clients and meet project objectives

Background/Experience:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in marketing for Fortune 500 companies
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer products and sports/entertainment industries required
  • Event/Experiential activation experience required
  • Knowledge of digital and social media promotions
  • Past experience in sports and entertainment a plus
  • Agency or brand experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master preferred

Requirements:

  • Must be based out of Atlanta
  • Travel 30-40%
  • May include long hours and weekends around key program launches
