ATLANTA, Ga. — Kia Motors America (KMA) has been named the official automobile partner of the Atlanta based LakePoint Sporting Community and Town Center. (www.lakepointsports.com).
When completed in 2016, LakePoint will be the largest youth sport destination in the world. The 1400+ acre, 1.5 billion dollar complex will feature 30 hotels, 28 baseball fields, 17 soccer/lacrosse fields, a 300,000 square foot interior facility, a Bass Pro Shop, a Greg Norman Golf Academy and a Dr. Jim Andrews Sports Performance and Science Center.
Kia cars including the new K900, the Optima, the Sorento, and the Soul will be prominently displayed throughout all areas of LakePoint, including Perfect Game baseball; Rally Volleyball; Terminus Wakeboard; L3 Lacrosse.
Once the park is fully-developed by 2016, Kia will have an even larger presence throughout LakePoint including test drives; Kia-branded parking decks; shuttle services and other activities.
MELT, as the official sponsorship agency of LakePoint, secured the deal on behalf of Kia and LakePoint.
