Overview

MELT is seeking a strategic thinker with a passion for sports and entertainment with comprehensive experience in digital and social marketing campaigns and consumer promotions. The Social Media Manager will bring in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, analytics, key influencer seeding and content management. This position will be on MELT’s growing Digital and Social Media team and will report directly to the Director of Digital and Social Media. This team cross-functionally drives digital and social plans with all MELT clients for some of the largest organizations and events in the country.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage content calendars and daily community management for MELT social media clients
  • Work across MELT teams to execute social initiatives that are fresh, effective and measurable to client KPIs
  • Play a key role in content planning, management, creation and tracking
  • Develop paid media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; place ad buys, monitor bids and performance analytics
  • Track key metrics in detailed reports for both daily social media functions and specialized campaigns
  • Brief MELT creative and production teams on design and concepts for all interactive programs
  • Implement content management strategies for professional athletes and other celebrities/entertainers to boost fan base and endorsement value
  • Leverage earned media and influencer strategies for clients
  • Provide insights on emerging trends and products
  • Work with a variety of digital and social vendors to help execute campaigns
  • Develop paid media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; place ad buys, monitor bids and performance analytics

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of social media management experience. Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • MUST have experience in paid social media planning and management
  • Executed large digital and social media campaigns from concept to execution to recap
  • Strong competency and experience in integrated marketing and the role of social media to drive and enhance consumer engagement
  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of the social space: platforms, vendors, measurement, content creation, media, and technology
  • Able to manage multiple projects, deliverables, deadlines, details and relationships at the same time
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer products and sports/entertainment industries required
  • Passionate sports fan
  • Strives in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibits passion and proactive energy for new and emerging social media platforms, promotional tools and solutions

 

Requirements

  • Must be based out of Atlanta
  • No relocation provided
  • Travel 10%
  • May include long hours and weekends around key program launches
