MELT CONTINUES EXPANSION WITH THREE NEW HIRES INCLUDING TWO MELT UNIVERSITY GRADUATES; NEW HIRES TO COMPLEMENT GROWING ACCOUNT SERVICE AND SOCIAL MEDIA TEAMS
ATLANTA, GA – April 16, 2018 – MELT (www.meltatl.com), the award-winning (2018 Shopper Marketing Effie; 2018 Cynopsis Sports Social Marketer Finalist; 2018 Cynopsis Social Good Finalist and 2017 Event Marketer Event Market Technology Award), sports, entertainment and culinary marketing firm, announce today three new hires – a continuation of MELT’s aggressive growth and expansion. Two of the three new hires are from MELT’s acclaimed MELT University intern program. Two of the new hires will join MELT’s event marketing and management team and one will join MELT’s growing social and digital media team.
LUIS SANCHEZ NAMED EVENT MANAGER
Sanchez, a graduate of Becker College in Worcester, MA, joins MELT after working as a freelance tour manager for MELT since September of 2017. During that time Sanchez impressed the team while working on operations for events and activations such as The Coca-Cola Kitchen and The Coca-Cola Ultimate Fan Zone Tour. He also has extensive experience working for Octagon for their BMW Drive for Team USA Tours; BMW Drive for a Cause Tour and auto shows with Volkswagen. Sanchez will continue assisting MELT’s event and experiential marketing teams on national tours and activations.
JULIA SIMON NAMED ACCOUNT & EVENT COORDINATOR
Ms. Simon, a 2017 graduate of Auburn University, joins MELT after her stint with MELT University. Ms. Simon has been working for MELT as an intern, and her performance, work ethic, and dedication earned her a full-time spot on the MELT team. As a student, she also had experience with Fox News Channel; Eagle Eye Television Network and the Auburn University Program Council. In her role, she will continue to assist the MELT Account Services team – assisting with national client and promotions.
TRISTAN WATSON NAMED DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Watson will graduate this May from Auburn University with a degree in communications. He will join MELT’s award-winning and growing social media and digital marketing team. Watson is a 2016 graduate of MELT University and in the summer of 2017 returned as a MELT U Program Coordinator. While at Auburn, Watson held several student leadership positions.
