As the Digital & Social Media Manager, you will be the strategic and executional lead on social media for one of our CPG clients. From ideation to posting, engagement to influencer outreach, and community management to analytics/reporting, you will manage it all—while collaborating closely with the account executive and reporting directly to the VP of Client Services.
You will own and drive all digital and social content efforts, paid and organic, and bring a fresh, innovative, and data-informed approach to every post, partnership, and campaign.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop monthly and quarterly content strategies and social calendars tailored to client goals and brand voice.
- Write, design (using Canva, experience in Adobe is a plus), and publish daily content across platforms (IG, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Stay ahead of trends and cultural moments to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Source and manage user-generated content (UGC) with a deep understanding of brand fit.
- Community Management & Engagement
- Actively monitor platforms for opportunities to foster conversation and build community.
- Conduct advanced social listening to surface insights and guide strategy.
- Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in brand voice.
- Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with content creators, influencers, and their teams.
- Execute influencer campaigns from outreach and negotiation to content delivery and performance reporting.
- Experience with influencer platforms, such as Aspire, CreatorIQ, Maverick, or Sideqik is a plus.
- Paid & Performance Media
- Strategically allocate and manage large budgets for paid social and influencer content.
- Partner with media buyers or internal tools to optimize performance and spend. Experience with Meta Ads/Business suite is required.
- Brand Experience Support
- Curate PR boxes and premiums, coordinate Surprise & Delight moments, and oversee execution logistics.
- Ensure physical and digital brand experiences align across touchpoints.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with Account Executive to align on client goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Regularly report on KPIs, trends, and engagement insights with actionable recommendations. Must feel comfortable reporting directly to our client’s Brand Manager and VP of Marketing.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in digital or social media marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
- 2+ years managing a top tier brand’s social media presence independently.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, algorithms, and tools.
- Proven track record of managing large influences and paid media budgets.
- Strong experience with influencer marketing platforms (Aspire, CreatorIQ, etc.).
- Proficient in Canva; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Familiar with scheduling and analytics tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, or similar.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—confident interfacing with talent, clients, and internal teams.
- Proactive, highly organized, and a true self-starter. This role requires you to know what is next without being asked.
