MELT SIGNS NEW LEASE AT 3630 PEACHTREE ROAD: THE RITZ-CARLTON RESIDENCE AND OFFICE BUILDING

The new lease negotiated between MELT Founder, Chairman, and CEO Vince Thompson, long-time MELT commercial realtor Howard Boyd of Hailey Realty and the building owner Transwestern of Chicago calls for several thousand feet of new space at MELT’s existing World Headquarters, where MELT has been located since 2012. The new space will feature a state-of-the-art digital, social media and content development space; a test kitchen for MELT Culinary, a health & wellness department housing MELT’s athletic training professionals and classroom and learning space for the expansion of MELT University, the acclaimed intern program that helps train college students for career opportunities in the sports, entertainment and culinary marketing fields.

ANNA WATSON PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY AND INSIGHTS

Watson, who received her Master’s degree from The Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University will continue to lead and evolve MELT’s strategy and insights division. In her role she will assist and lead on all new business pitches; strategy development for MELT’s growing client roster and develop an innovation pipeline allowing MELT to stay abreast and competitive in a rapidly-changing industry. Watson has been with MELT for nearly 18 months.

MARGARET WORRELL PROMOTED TO ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Worrell, who received her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama, will continue to service MELT’s accounts and account teams. Since May of 2016, she has worked on many accounts at MELT, including Holiday Inn Express Pancake Selfie Express for the SEC Network and SEC Nation. She also served an internship at Allied Integrated Marketing. Worrell is also a success story from MELT University and MELT’s affiliation with The University of Alabama’s undergraduate and graduate schools.

MARC FISHER, AWARD-WINNING CREATIVE DIRECTOR, GRAPHIC ARTIST AND VISUAL DESIGNER JOINS MELT AS SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Fisher, who received his Master’s degree from The Miami Ad School and his undergraduate degree from The University of Tampa, will assist MELT SVP of Creative David Culbertson in the growth and evolution of MELT’s creative services. Fisher has won numerous industry awards including the Golden Flame Award for his work with UPS, Silver Addys, and others. Fisher previously served stints at The Dagger Agency, CSE, Realm and 22 Squared.

TERESA LORD JOINS MELT AS STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Lord, who received her undergraduate degree from The University of West Georgia joins MELT’s growing accounting and finance team as Staff Accountant. Lord, who also has her CPA designation, was most recently with Duggan & Massey of Atlanta. She will assist MELT Controller Susan Gout as Gout continues to evolve the MELT Accounting and Finance team.
