Greg McGarity, the athletic director for the University of Georgia, tells our students how he first got involved with Georgia, and what prospective industries he sees emerging in a post Covid world.
Greg McGarity is the Athletic Director for the University of Georgia. He oversees a 21-sport athletics program supported by a budget of $123 million. Greg is an Athens native and University of Georgia graduate. He was named Director of Athletics at UGA on August 13, 2010, after serving 18 years in the athletic department at the University of Florida.
