John Talty attended the University of Maryland College Park where he received his degree in Journalism. John has worked for a number of companies including Comcast, NBC News, Slate Magazine. He currently is a Sports editor at the Alabama Media Group. John has worked for the Alabama Media Group for six years. During those six years he has filled the roles of college sports editor and a sports reporter. John also has received many awards for his writings including first place in sports non-deadline reporting in the largest newspaper category.
