Cowboys Stadium, Jerry’s world, is a lock for the 1st college football playoff. No great surprise, it’s built for speed. Interesting decision, but not surprising to not award the title to just one sponsor. It’s easier to sell more by multiple categories than just one title sponsor… lots more dollars, too. This event will eventually rival the Super Bowl in size, entertainment, scope and ad dollars. The rotation of the playoffs at the top bowls will be enormous, too, and will fuel an even more golden era of college football. It will be important to seek a balance between what is good for the student-athlete; the universities and the fans. It will be interesting to see how this plays out long term.
