ATLANTA, Ga. —– Atlanta-based integrated marketing firm MELT (Marketing Entertainment Lifestyle and Trends, www.meltatl.com) had a hand in the recent Super Bowl held Sunday in Indianapolis.

The MELT team was deployed across the Indianapolis area during Superbowl week, engaging Coke Zero consumers and facilitating the entertainment strategy for The MAXIM Superbowl Party, perennially Superbowl week’s most exclusive annual event.

“MELT is very honored to have worked this week with two of the most prestigious brands in the world in Coke Zero and MAXIM, especially at the ultimate confluence of the sports and entertainment industries”, said MELT CEO Vince Thompson.

MELT assisted in the production of The MAXIM Super Bowl Party featuring the Coca-Cola Zero Countdown, which was held Saturday night at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. MELT produced the event’s live entertainment, which featured Grammy Award winning hip-hop artist Ludacris. Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl wide receiver Greg Jennings served as the NFL host for Coke Zero and MAXIM, and welcomed many other NFL stars and celebrities on the event’s red carpet.

The MAXIM Super Bowl Party is annually a collection of A-List celebrities and athletes, and serves as the centerpiece of a collection of parties that include DirecTV, Rolling Stone, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Playboy and many others. The Coca-Cola Zero Countdown is an event that has traditionally been held as the centerpiece of NCAA Final Four Weekend, and has featured top recording artists such as Kings of Leon, Fergie, Daughtry, and John Mellencamp. MELT has assisted with the last nine Final Four entertainment initiatives, and the existing equities of The Coca-Cola Zero Countdown as a marquee showcase opportunity for top musical talent.

MELT also conducted a comprehensive Coke Zero sampling program around the Indianapolis area, an effort designed to refresh migrant football fans and locals alike. Six sites served as anchors for sampling, and included an integrated promotion with three local Buffalo Wild Wing restaurants, as well as three of Indianapolis’ top shopping malls. Over four days and multiple events at these various locations, MELT refreshed the Indy community with over 45,000 Coca-Cola Zero samples.

“As an agency, these are the types of programs and events that serve as the keystone of our business ,” said Thompson. “We’re thankful for the opportunity to work with a brand like Coca-Cola Zero, and engage fans in a meaningful way around perhaps their greatest passion point, football.”
