NEW ORLEANS, La.—– Atlanta based MELT (Marketing Entertainment Lifestyle and Trends,, a fully integrated sports and entertainment marketing agency, is proud to announce its role producing and activating Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism and Kia branded experiences from the Sunkist SEC Men’s Basketball Fanfare in New Orleans, La.

MELT built out unique, large activations for its Kia and Gulf Shores & Orange Beach clients. Highlights of the Kia and Gulf Shores & Orange Beach activations include a basketball themed “mobile showroom” showcasing the Kia Optima and Kia Sorento, the official vehicle of the Southeastern Conference. Gulf Shores & Orange Beach will feature a beach-themed experience highlighting the first ever SEC Beach Fest, a championship celebration that will kick-off the 2012 football season August 23-26 at the beautiful Orange Beach & Gulf Shores beaches. The activation features an authentic lifeguard stand, appearances from SEC basketball legends, and integration of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach merchant partners from the hospitality, lodging, and golf industries.

The Sunkist SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament Fanfare is held March 8-10th, from Champion’s Square in downtown New Orleans. The outdoor festival is adjacent to both New Orleans Arena and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Designed for all ages the Sunkist Soda SEC Fanfare features interactive games, live entertainment, famous Louisiana cuisine, displays, interviews with former SEC stars and much more. Admission is free.
