ATLANTA, GA – MELT (www.meltatl.com), the award-winning sports, entertainment and culinary marketing agency, announced today that Jennifer Parker, former Senior Director – Marketing, for Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, has been named Director of Culinary and Concierge Initiatives for the company. The announcement was made today by MELT Chairman and CEO Vince Thompson. Parker will oversee the new division of MELT devoted to fan and hospitality initiatives.

Parker joins MELT after a 6-year successful stint with Buckhead Life where she oversaw innovative marketing programs including; the digital transformation of all marketing efforts, the Ultimate Dining Card, Summer Dine-Around, Academy Awards Night at Pricci, and all charitable giving. Parker was also responsible for developing marketing promotions for all 13 of the critically-acclaimed Buckhead Life restaurants in Atlanta and 3 South Florida markets including; Chops Lobster Bar, Bistro Niko, Pricci, Buckhead Diner, Atlanta Fish Market, Corner Cafe, 103 West (Private Events), Lobster Bar Sea Grille (Fort Lauderdale and Miami), Chops (Boca) and City Fish Market. Prior to joining Buckhead Life, Parker was a senior executive for McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants overseeing marketing for more than 93 restaurants and 5 brands.  Her history with hospitality/fan marketing has been a theme throughout her career going all the way back to 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta, She is well-respected in the both the Atlanta community and chef and restaurant community as well.
In her new role with MELT, she will oversee MELT’s burgeoning chef and culinary division already known for creating and co-producing Taste Festivals and special events at The NCAA Men’s Final Four; The South Beach (SOBE) Food & Wine Festival and most recently at the Major League All-Star Game in Miami. Currently MELT has a extensive calendar of activities planned for both MELT and MELT Culinary. MELT is also developing plans to move into the creation and ownership of many events and experiences into the future.

 

MELT Launches Concierge Division 

Thompson also announced today a new initiative designed to assist major corporations develop their custom hospitality experiences around major sporting, food, and music events. Parker will oversee, MELT CONCIERGE, an effort to assist major corporations with their high-end hospitality and entertainment needs around the country. This division expands on MELT’s involvement in marketing initiatives around major events around the country and Atlanta which plays host to the NCAA College Football National Championship in 2018, The Super Bowl in 2019, and The NCAA Final Four in 2020 in addition to The Masters annually in Augusta, GA. Thompson saw a natural extension for both MELT’s core businesses and the MELT Culinary business line. The new division will deliver turnkey hospitality solutions and create new solutions centered around sporting events, music festivals and custom dining experiences.
