June 18, Atlanta, GA – Continuing its growth and expansion into the collegiate sports and event marketing space, Atlanta-based MELT recently added a new group of professionals who will assist in the further strategic growth and development of the burgeoning collegiate space.

Acclaimed Producer Grant Guffin Joins MELT to Lead MELT Original Content & Productions. 

Award-winning Producer Grant Guffin of Memphis-based Flashlight Films is joining MELT to head up its Original Content division as VP of MELT Productions. Guffin most recently worked with MELT, Coke Zero, CBS, and Greg Gumbel on the 30-minute CBS Final Four TV special, “Coke Zero Presents March Fandemonium.”

A life-long college football fan, Guffin has produced several documentaries, including his most recent “Nick Saban: Gamechanger.”

“We are proud to have Grant join our team,” said MELT CEO Vince Thompson. “He’s a world-class producer and it positions MELT to provide great content in the college sports marketplace, especially the new SEC Network channel which will launch August 2014.”

MELT Names Three New Account Executives From Great Account Management and Event Marketing Backgrounds.

Amber Bruce – Former Coca-Cola Refreshments Marketing Manager joins MELT as a Senior Account Executive. Bruce was previously a District Marketing Manager for vitaminwater® and smartwater®, where she worked on the negotiation and execution of several major events, including Music Midtown; Live Nation concerts and venues; The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival; and the Charleston Food & Wine Festival.

Bryan Bazarte – Former Autotrader.com Manager of Consumer Marketing joins MELT as a Senior Account Executive. Bazarte led marketing initiatives and national promotions for the nation’s largest online automotive site, Autotrader.com, including Major League Baseball; The New England Patriots; Sony Pictures Television; EA Sports; Universal Pictures; and SpeedTV. Bazarte was also previously Director of Integrated Marketing for CBS Radio, Atlanta; led Business Development for PictureU and worked with 92.9 DaveFM.

Fallon Brister – Former GMR Marketing Field Manager joins MELT as an Event Manager. Brister has a broad background in the activation space, having worked on accounts as varied as Verizon Wireless; Miller Coors; Nintendo; and vitaminwater®.
