ATLANTA, GA – February 5, 2019 – MELT (www.meltatl.com), the Atlanta-based sports, entertainment, and culinary marketing firm announced today that it is joining forces with The Atlanta Business Chronicle to sponsor their annual Business of Sports Summit – to be held at The College Football Hall of Fame on Thursday, March 21 from 7:30 am – 11:00 am EST.
The annual event, which attracts business, sports and media leaders from the Atlanta Community, will feature Paul Finebaum of The SEC Network and The Paul Finebaum Radio Show; world-famous oddsmaker Danny Sheridan; Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Frank “The Big Hurt” Thomas; Allison Filmore, Executive Director of The TOUR Championship; and Chris Womack, Executive Vice President and President of External Affairs for The Southern Company. More special guests will be announced prior to the event.
The conversations and panels promise to be informative and lively including Finebaum and Sheridan discussing an array of topics including the legalization of sports betting; Thomas discussing his return to his home state of Georgia to launch his new 404 Vodka and the welcoming business climate in Atlanta for “athletepreneurs” and Ms. Filmore as she recounts the 2018 TOUR Championship and what the new August (19-25) date means for the tournament.
