ATLANTA, GA – February 11, 2019 – MELT (, the award-winning sports, entertainment, lifestyle and culinary marketing agency, announced today the hiring of former Mizuno Sports executive Manny Marquez as Senior Art Director and Head of MELT Studio, the creative and art division of MELT. In his new role, he will provide creative, art and graphic design support to MELT’s award-winning art, creative, digital and social content teams. In 2018 MELT won 11 industry awards for their work across many spectrums and clients. He will report to MELT SVP of Creative Services David Culbertson.

Marquez joins MELT from Mizuno Sports where he was an Art Director. His responsibilities included oversight of creative, graphic design and visual identity for all Mizuno Sports brands including baseball, golf, running, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. His projects included Mizuno Running’s sponsorship of The Peachtree Road Race and The Atlanta Track Club; Mizuno Softball and Jennie Finch and many other award-winning efforts.

Marquez is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts – Graphic Design, with a concentration in drawing/painting.
