ATLANTA, Ga. — MELT (www.meltatl.com), the award-winning sports, entertainment and culinary marketing firm, announced today the hiring of three new executives as it gears up for growth and expansion for the upcoming college football season and beyond.

FORMER COOPER HOLDINGS, CSE FINANCE EXECUTIVE SUSAN GOUT NAMED AS CONTROLLER

Ms. Gout, an ad and marketing industry accounting and finance veteran, was named Controller today. Ms. Gout has many years of experience including her most recent stint with sports marketing and talent firm CSE; Dragon Army; Moxie Interactive and Engauge Marketing. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Ms. Gout has also completed many courses on the use of various online and software tools in the advertising and marketing industry. She will work closely with MELT Chief Strategist Rob Berling and MELT Chief Financial Officer Jeff Moore as MELT continues to build and equip its accounting and financial systems for future growth.

FORMER BELK DEPARTMENT STORES TAILGATE TOUR MANAGER BLAKE SPIRES NAMED EVENT MANAGER

Spires has extensive experience in the management of event and experiential tour management including his most recent stint with Belk Department Stores where he worked on the SEC Nation Tour, the SEC Championship, the ACC Championship and the Belk Bowl. Spires also has worked on tours such as Nathan’s Hot Dogs, the GMC NFL Monday Night Football Tour and MillerCoors Search for the Coldest Tour. Spires holds a degree from the University of South Florida.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA, MELT UNIVERSITY GRADUATE OONA PEACOCK NAMED ACCOUNT ASSOCIATE

Following in the steps of recent MELT hire, Auburn University and MELT University graduate Ellis Baxter, Ms. Peacock becomes the second MELT University graduate to join the MELT team full-time. Ms. Peacock impressed the MELT executives this summer with her creativity, attitude and work ethic. She is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in sports and entertainment, where she was frequently on the Dean’s List. She also has an extensive work, intern and volunteer background with the Master’s Golf Tournament; CNN; MLB and the Perfect Game. She will assist the MELT account teams in the day-to-day management of account work and activities.
