The group was recently awarded a Bronze Shopper Marketing Effie Award in the “Multi-Brand/Manufacturer Shopper Solution Category. The award was given at the recent Path-to-Purchase Expo held in March in Chicago, IL.

The “Taste of The Tournament” was a major three-week retail promotion that appeared in several thousand Kroger stores across the country during the 2017 NCAA March Madness and NCAA’s Men’s Final Four. As stated by Shopper Marketing Magazine, all brands saw an 8% lift in base dollar sales and the event generated 30,000 entries for tickets to the NCAA Men’s Final Four. A series of “Tasty-style” recipe videos were featured on Kroger’s “March to Savings” website and nearly 90 stores held in-store, basketball-themed events, as well as a major Taste of The Tournament Festival featuring celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez and local Phoenix chefs during the NCAA Men’s Final Four held in Phoenix, AZ.
