These announcements come on the heels of MELT continuing aggressive growth and expansion strategies.

MARINA WHITE PROMOTED TO ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

Marina White, who joined MELT from Ideas United Marketing, has been promoted to account supervisor. Since joining MELT, her roles and responsibilities have grown and expanded rapidly, including leadership in shopper marketing programs, and account management over numerous MELT accounts, many within the MELT Food portfolio. “I’m so proud of Marina and her growth and development since joining MELT just a few short months ago,” said MELT Chairman/CEO Vince Thompson. “She has become a very valuable member of the MELT team and I’m so proud of her for her many accomplishments. I look forward to watching her continue to grow.”

MELT ADDS CREATIVE COPYWRITER, CORPORATE STRATEGIST AND NEW ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Spike Logan, Anna Watson and Margaret Worrell have all joined MELT in various new positions as the agency continues to expand its portfolio of marketing services for its clients.

Logan joins MELT as a creative copywriter where he will contribute to MELT’s burgeoning creative, content and social media division. Logan joins MELT from the Possible agency where he was most recently a copywriter working on campaigns for The Coca-Cola Company, among others. Logan is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he received his B.A in Philosophy and Psychology.

Watson joins MELT as a corporate strategist where she will work on the development of strategy, positioning, creative strategy and research for MELT’s growing roster of clients. Watson is a recent graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) where she received her M.A in Advertising. She received her B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from The Ohio State University in 2011.

Worrell joins MELT as an account coordinator where she will work on several of MELT’s event and experiential accounts and tours. Worrell graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communication and Information Services, and completed an internship in the acclaimed MELT University Internship program in the summer of 2015.

MELT LOOKS TO ADD NEW JOBS AND POSITIONS; THESE POSITIONS WILL LOOK TO ADD BREDTH AND DEPTH TO THE TALENT POOL OF MELT’S CORE SERVICES AND OFFERINGS

As MELT continues to grow and expand its talent roster, client base and services, they will continue to seek out the best and the brightest marketing and advertising talent in the country with the addition of 14 new positions within the organization. These jobs are across the spectrum and will range from junior positions and senior roles to administrative and accounting help.

These positions include:

ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR SHOPPER MARKETING – This role requires at least 5-7 years in the shopper marketing, retail and consumer behavior space. Needs to have relevant agency, retail and shopper marketing experience and training.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SHOPPER MARKETING – This role requires at least 3-5 years in the shopper marketing, retail and consumer behavior space and needs to have relevant agency, retail and shopper marketing experience and training.

ART DIRECTOR – This role requires at least 5-7 years of experience in the areas of visual ID, graphic arts, animation and conceptual campaign development and execution. Prefer background and experience in advertising or marketing agency.

ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR – This role requires at least 5-7 years in the creative, copywriting, television and content production and creative campaign development. Prefer background and experience in advertising or marketing agency.

EVENT DIRECTOR – This role requires at least 5-7 years of experience in directing national events, experiential campaigns and tours. Must also be willing to travel 40-50 percent of the time including weekends. Prefer background in advertising, event or marketing agency.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – This role requires at least 8-10 years of experience and we are looking for a versatile individual with experience in managing scheduling and tasks at the C-Suite or Executive Level. Must have worked in a high energy, high-paced environment.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – This role requires at least 3-5 years of experience in the areas of community management, content development and creative campaigns and executions. Prefer background and experience in advertising or marketing agency.

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE MULTI-CULTURAL – This role requires at least 5-7 years of experience in the areas of managing multi-cultural accounts, budgets, campaigns and diversity initiatives. Prefer background and experience in advertising or marketing agency.

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER – This role requires at least 5-7 years of experience in managing multi-million-dollar advertising and marketing budgets, client interface, business writing skills and oversight of an account team and cross-functional teams. Prefer background and experience in advertising or marketing agency.

SENIOR EVENT MANAGER – This role requires at least 3-5 years of experience in directing national events, experiential campaigns and tours. Must also be willing to travel 40-50 percent of the time including weekends. Prefer background and experience in advertising, experience or marketing agency.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT – This role requires at least 5-7 years of experience in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable and other traditional accounting functions. Prefer a background and experience in advertising or marketing agency, but not required.

MELT FOOD LOOKS TO ADD NEW POSITIONS AS IT EXPANDS ITS OFFERINGS AND SERVICES IN THE CHEF AND CULINARY MARKETING SPACE

MELT Food continues to grow this division, led by partner and James Beard award-winning chef Chris Hastings, offering its clients strategic culinary consulting, primarily chef utilization, their knowledge, their reach and their insight into consumer palates as a strategic plank in the marketing and shopper marketing mix. The division also capitalizes on the popularity of culinary content in social media and as a part of the marketing mix. MELT Food will grow and expand its offerings through the addition and acquisition of talent in the following areas:

CHEF RELATIONS MANAGER – This role will include the oversight and relationship management and interaction with all chefs and culinary experts that MELT FOOD will deploy in the development of various advertising and marketing campaigns. Experience and knowledge of working with chefs and the culinary agency preferred but not required.

CULINARY COPYWRITER AND EDITOR – This role will include the creation and development of chef, culinary and food related copywriting and other creative activities. This copy will be used in the creation of advertising campaigns for major corporations utilizing chefs in traditional and non-traditional media including many multi-platform and social media environments. Preferred experience in working in this space in prior job roles.

FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER – This role will include the production of both still and video photography for the creation and distribution of social media vignettes, television campaigns, videos, website development and other related activities. Preferred experience in culinary and food agencies or media outlets.

FOOD PROP ACQUISITION SPECIALIST – This role will require the creation and development of various food environments, staged where food is the centerpiece of the photo or media production. Preferred experience in culinary and food agencies or media outlets.

FOOD STYLIST – This role will include food styling for various print, still, television and social media campaign development. Preferred experience in culinary and food agencies or media outlets.

FOOD STUDIO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – This role will include the oversight of the growth and development of an in-house kitchen and content production studio. Management will include coordinating talent, productions, still and video shoots and other assorted activities. Position requires multi-tasking, scheduling and budget oversight.

FOOD VIDEOGRAPHER – This role will include the development and oversight of all MELT FOOD content and production activities and work closely with the prop, stylist and studio teams. Preferred experience in working with culinary or food agencies or media outlets is preferred.

RECIPE DEVELOPER – This role will include the creation and development of recipes for many culinary, entertaining and food occasions. The role also needs to understand the development of recipes, taste tests and other activities with bringing a recipe to the consumer and retail marketplace. Preferred experience with culinary and food agencies or media outlets, but not required.
