ATLANTA, Ga. — MELT, one of the country’s leading Sports and Entertainment Marketing firms, has hired Doug Kroll as its Director of Digital and Social Marketing.
Kroll, a University of Miami graduate, was formerly a Senior Interactive Producer for Turner Sports where he assisted with Turner’s oversight and management of their NCAA.com property. He coordinated and produced original content for NCAA championships and worked on some of college sports largest events including the BCS National Championship; Men’s Final Four and College World Series.
Prior to his experience at Turner Sports, Kroll spent two years at CBS Sports/Interactive where he was Managing Editor at NCAA.com before the NCAA property transitioned to Turner Sports. He also worked with the CBS College Sports Network and CSTV/CSTV.com.
MELT chairman/CEO Vince Thompson praised Kroll and his joining the MELT team.
“Doug brings a great passion, knowledge and energy to our team,” said Thompson. “He will be a huge contributor to our work in the collegiate sports space including our work for The Coca-Cola Company on ESPN College GameDay and the NCAA Men’s Final Four and related NCAA properties.”
