MELT raises $1000 in donations for the dogs and cats who have been at the Fulton County Animal Services Shelter for the longest period of time.
The donation will cover care packages for the fifteen animals who have been in the shelter the longest providing these lovable furry friends with food, bowls, toys, treats, pet beds, and more.
Ninety percent of MELT staffers have animals, many from rescue and shelter organizations. The MELT team, led by Founder and CEO Vince Thompson along with Amanda Tibbetts, Hailey Curtis, Jenna Cook, and Anna Watson spearheaded the fund drive as the MELT Strong Team wanted to help Cupid’s arrow hit the mark and give back during this season of love to assist in helping these animals find their fur-ever homes.
About LifeLine
LifeLine Animal Project takes a holistic approach to improving the standard of care for animals in Atlanta through the management of the county shelters, adoption programs, spay and neuter clinics and community outreach. Over 15,000 homeless animals (more than 40 a day) enter our shelters each year. Our goal is that all healthy and treatable pets leave our shelters alive and find loving homes. LifeLine is actively on its way to making its ultimate goal a reality: transforming metro Atlanta into a no-kill community that prioritizes saving the lives of its homeless pets.
