ATLANTA, Ga. — MELT, the Atlanta-based sports and entertainment marketing firm, has named former Atlanta Falcons Corporate Partnership Executive Julia Lauria as Business Development Manager.

In her new role with MELT, Ms. Lauria will oversee MELT’s NFL relationships including its recently formed strategic partnership with SportsTrust Advisors, which represents more than 50 active NFL players. Led by Pat Dye, Jr and Bill Johnson, SportsTrust’s clients include  7 time Pro Bowler DeMarcus Ware, 2013 NFL Rookie of the Year Eddie Lacy, 2014 NFL rushing leader Demarco Murray, iconic future NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher, and former University of Georgia and SEC record breaking quarterback Aaron Murray.

Ms. Lauria’s experience includes managing and executing more than 30 local, regional and national sponsorship marketing agreements on behalf of the Atlanta Falcons. Prior to the Falcons, she gained very valuable marketing experience working with the Buffalo Bills and the University of Tennessee.

Ms. Lauria graduated with a BS in Sports Management from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. While at St. John Fisher College, she was captain of the women’s lacrosse team.
